Leaving a grad party yesterday, there were cars parked on both sides of the street. I tried to pull into the mouth of a driveway to let an oncoming car past and totally forgot about the Buick Lucerne next to me. I drug my car across the front left corner of the Buick. The couple whose car it was couldn’t have been nicer about it. The lady hugged me and both of them had an “accidents happen” attitude towards it as I kept apologizing. I gave them my insurance information, but my guess is the damage to the Buick will fall under whatever our deductible is since neither car had any real bodywork damage. I am planning on getting mine repaired. This is also the first time I’ve hit another car.

TL;DR damaged my car and somebody else’s because I wasn’t paying close attention to my surroundings.
